Can your genes predict cancer? 2000-Patient study investigates

NCT ID NCT02280161

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at blood and saliva samples from 2000 people with cancer to find inherited genetic changes that may increase cancer risk, affect how tumors grow, or influence how well treatments work. Participants provide samples and allow researchers to analyze their DNA. The goal is to better understand the role of family genetics in cancer, not to test a new treatment.
