Summary

This study looked at how a drug called LCZ696 (used for heart failure) affects the kidneys and heart in 72 people with type 2 diabetes, some with early signs of heart stiffness and some without. Participants received a salt solution to test their body's response. The goal was to understand if this drug can prevent progression to symptomatic heart failure. The study is complete, but results are not yet reported.
