Scientists inject knees to unlock secrets of painful walking
NCT ID NCT06330402
Summary
This study aimed to understand how knee pain changes the way people walk. Researchers gave 34 healthy adults two different injections in the knee—one to cause temporary pain and one as a control—and then measured their walking and jumping movements. The goal was to see if walking patterns or a person's sensitivity to pain could predict how intense knee pain feels.
