Robotic leg brace aims to restore walking for stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT04116671
Summary
This study is testing a new device designed to help people walk better after a stroke. The device is a motorized leg brace combined with gentle electrical muscle stimulation. Researchers are working with a small group of Veterans to see if this 'smart' system can make walking safer, faster, and less tiring by helping lift the foot and support the knee at the right times.
