Direct brain artery treatment aims to stop stroke damage

NCT ID NCT07357987

Summary

This study is testing whether delivering a clot-busting drug directly into a blocked brain artery can help people recover better from a medium-sized stroke. About 488 adults who have had a stroke within 24 hours will be randomly assigned to receive either this direct artery treatment plus standard care or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if more people can return to near-normal daily life with little or no disability 90 days after their stroke.
