Direct attack on stroke clots: new treatment aims to save brain function
NCT ID NCT07357987
Summary
This study is testing if delivering a clot-busting drug directly into a blocked brain artery is better than standard care for a specific type of stroke. It will involve 488 adults who have had a stroke caused by a blockage in a medium-sized brain vessel. The main goal is to see if this targeted approach helps more people recover with little to no disability 90 days after their stroke.
