Scientists probe hidden blood vessel damage after stroke surgery

NCT ID NCT07292974

Summary

This study aims to better understand what happens inside the body's smallest blood vessels and how inflammation changes in people who have a stroke and undergo a procedure to remove the clot. Researchers will measure specific substances in the blood of 150 adult stroke patients before, during, and after their clot removal surgery. The goal is to learn how these internal changes relate to a patient's recovery, which could help develop better future treatments.
