Global hunt for answers to deadly stroke treatment complication
NCT ID NCT06394180
Summary
This worldwide registry study aims to understand a rare but serious complication that can occur during a common stroke treatment called thrombectomy, where a blood vessel tears. Researchers will collect data from 1,000 stroke patients to identify what makes this tear more likely to happen and determine the best way for doctors to respond when it occurs. The goal is to make this life-saving procedure safer by learning from these events.
