Scientists launch First-of-its-Kind stroke tissue bank to unlock disease secrets

NCT ID NCT03153683

Summary

This study is creating a collection of blood and tissue samples from people undergoing procedures for stroke or other blood vessel problems in the brain. Researchers will study these samples to find biological markers that could explain why strokes happen and how the body responds. The goal is to use this new knowledge to help design better, more personalized treatments for stroke in the future.
