500 stroke patients to help uncover hidden heart risks

Summary

This study follows 500 adults who had an ischemic stroke to identify biological and imaging markers that predict heart complications and recovery. Participants provide blood samples and imaging data, and their health is tracked for up to three months. The goal is to better understand the link between brain damage and heart problems, known as neuro-cardiac syndrome, and to find new targets for treatment.
