Summary
This study looks at why some stroke patients don't fully recover even after main artery blockage is removed. Researchers will compare MRI scans with brain tissue samples from 15 patients who need surgery for severe stroke. The goal is to see if certain MRI signals indicate tiny clots in small blood vessels, which could guide future treatments.
