Brain scans could unlock personalized recovery for stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT05256563
Summary
This study aims to find a biological marker (like a specific pattern on a brain scan) that can predict which stroke survivors with spatial neglect will respond best to therapy. Researchers are enrolling 45 people who had a stroke 1-8 months ago to track their recovery over 6 months. The goal is to use this information to personalize care, helping match patients with the treatments most likely to improve their daily independence.
