First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how two mental practice techniques—imagining movements and watching others perform movements—affect muscle activity in stroke survivors. Researchers will measure electrical signals in arm and hand muscles of 28 participants during these exercises to see how they relate to recovery of function and independence. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve physical and occupational therapy approaches for stroke rehabilitation.
