Swiss researchers test High-Dose therapy to help stroke survivors walk and move again
NCT ID NCT07427511
Summary
This study is testing whether a new, more intensive rehabilitation program is practical to use in clinics and at home for people recovering from a stroke. About 120 adults who have had a stroke will do about 5 hours of tech-supported exercises each week, on top of their usual therapy, to try to improve movement in their arms and legs. The main goal is to see if this demanding schedule is doable for patients and clinics, while also checking for early signs of improvement in walking, balance, and daily activities.
