Can special glasses and a mild zap help stroke survivors walk and see better?

NCT ID NCT06053320

Summary

This study aims to understand if combining two existing therapies—prism adaptation training (wearing special glasses) and mild electrical stimulation—can better help people recover from spatial neglect and walking difficulties after a stroke. Researchers will test these methods on 65 participants, including healthy adults and stroke survivors, to see how they affect brain activity, spatial awareness, and walking. The goal is to gather data to design more effective, personalized rehabilitation programs in the future.
