Can a phone video help stroke survivors walk again? new study tests Self-Rehab in nigeria
NCT ID NCT07208422
Summary
This study is testing two simple, self-guided rehabilitation programs designed for stroke survivors in low-resource communities. It aims to see if a video-based program or a printed manual is better at helping 50 Hausa-speaking adults in Nigeria improve their arm and leg movement, walking, balance, and overall quality of life. The goal is to find an affordable and accessible way for people to recover at home when professional therapy is hard to get.
