Ear stimulation & robot arm: new hope for stroke patients?

NCT ID NCT07259577

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive stimulation of a nerve in the ear, combined with robot-assisted arm training, can help people recover better after a stroke. It will involve 30 adults who had a stroke at least six months ago and still have significant arm weakness. The goal is to see if this combination improves arm movement, breathing muscle strength, and overall quality of life more than robot training alone.
