Scientists map the Brain's road to recovery after stroke

NCT ID NCT05332652

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brain reorganizes itself to recover arm movement after a stroke. Researchers will use brain scans and tests to track changes over a year and see if they can predict recovery. In a second part, they will test if a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique (tDCS) can help improve recovery when paired with therapy.
