Summary
This study looked at ways to get stroke patients treated faster in Flint, Michigan. Researchers tested a program that included both hospital improvements and community education. Nearly 6,000 adults who had a stroke or mini-stroke took part. The goal was to see if these efforts increased the use of clot-busting drugs and more patients arriving by ambulance.
