Ancient remedy put to modern test in stroke recovery race
NCT ID NCT06883110
Summary
This study is testing whether two different versions of a traditional Chinese medicine pill work equally well for people who have just had a stroke. Researchers will follow 100 stroke patients for about three months to see which pill helps them recover better in terms of movement, speech, and daily function. They will also check if the pills affect gut bacteria and the body's immune response.
