New training aims to help stroke survivors regain lost awareness
NCT ID NCT07331896
Summary
This study is testing a thinking strategy training program for stroke survivors living at home who have spatial neglect, a condition that makes it hard to pay attention to one side of their body or surroundings. The program teaches people to set goals, check their own performance on daily tasks, and develop strategies to overcome challenges. Researchers want to see if this training can reduce neglect symptoms and disability while improving self-awareness.
