New brain training aims to help stroke patients see what They're missing
NCT ID NCT07331896
Summary
This study is testing a new training program for stroke survivors who have a condition called spatial neglect, which makes it hard to pay attention to one side of their body or surroundings. The program teaches personalized strategies to help people become more aware of their neglect and perform daily activities more safely and independently. Researchers are enrolling 45 adults who live at home after a stroke to see if this training reduces disability and improves attention.
