NCT ID NCT05847699

First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at why some stroke patients still have poor outcomes even after successful clot removal. Researchers will compare MRI scans with brain tissue samples from 15 patients who need surgery to relieve brain pressure. The goal is to see if certain MRI signals indicate tiny blood clots in small vessels, which could guide future treatments.
