Researchers test new way to detect hidden motion issues after stroke

NCT ID NCT06605014

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This observational study aims to see if a new, standardized physical exam can reliably find joint motion problems in healthy adults and in people hospitalized after a stroke or mini-stroke (TIA). Researchers will compare exam results between groups and check if motion issues relate to quality of life three months later. The study does not offer treatment but may improve how we assess and understand stroke recovery.
