Faster stroke scans could speed Life-Saving treatment

Summary
This study aims to find out if a simpler, more widely available type of brain scan works as well as more complex scans for deciding which stroke patients should receive a procedure to remove a blood clot. Researchers will compare outcomes for about 1,800 stroke patients who are selected for the procedure using either the simple scan or the standard advanced scan. The goal is to see if the simpler method leads to similarly good recovery, which could make this critical treatment faster and more accessible.
