New tool aims to pinpoint stroke stiffness for better recovery
NCT ID NCT07429383
Summary
This study is testing a simple clinical tool to help doctors accurately identify the specific type of muscle stiffness (like spasticity or dystonia) that stroke survivors experience. The tool, previously used for children with cerebral palsy, will be evaluated in 60 adults who have had a stroke. The goal is to see if it works reliably for adults, which could help create more personalized and effective physical therapy plans.
