Robot glove aims to help stroke patients reclaim their grip

NCT ID NCT05133232

Summary

This study tested a device called SynPhNe to see if it could help people recover hand and arm movement after a recent stroke. It was used alongside standard therapy to provide extra, guided practice with less need for constant supervision from a therapist. The goal was to see if this approach could improve recovery, be easy for patients to use, and potentially shorten hospital stays.
