Brain zap & hand stimulation trial aims to reawaken paralyzed hands after stroke

NCT ID NCT05736653

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of brain, nerve, and hand stimulation can improve the connection between the brain and weakened hand muscles in people who have had a moderate-to-severe stroke. Researchers want to see if this approach can help improve hand movement and function. The study involves 40 participants who will receive different combinations of stimulation while practicing a hand-grasping task.
