Scientists probe brain and body secrets of stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT04380454
Summary
This study aimed to understand how two different walking rehabilitation methods help people recover after a stroke. Researchers compared fast treadmill walking alone to fast treadmill walking combined with gentle electrical leg stimulation. They measured walking speed, endurance, brain signals, and body mechanics in 55 stroke survivors to learn which approach works best for different people.
