Virtual reality treadmill tested to help stroke patients walk again
NCT ID NCT07469163
Summary
This study aims to find out how much special treadmill training is safe and tolerable for people recovering from a recent stroke. Researchers will have participants walk on a treadmill where each leg can move at a different speed, combined with virtual reality, to improve walking. They will slowly increase the training time to see what amount patients can handle without excessive fatigue or discomfort. The goal is to gather information to design better rehabilitation programs for stroke survivors.
