Zap and walk: nerve stimulation trial aims to help stroke survivors regain mobility

NCT ID NCT07291024

Summary

This study is testing whether a small device that stimulates a nerve in the neck, used during walking therapy, can help people walk better after a stroke. Researchers want to see if this combination is safe and can improve walking speed and leg function for adults who had a stroke at least six months ago. The study will also look for biological signs in the body that might predict who benefits most.
