Summary

This study looks at whether giving the clot-busting drug Tenecteplase to stroke patients at a local hospital before transferring them to a specialized center can improve their recovery. About 572 adults with a severe type of stroke caused by a blocked artery in the brain will be randomly assigned to receive either Tenecteplase or standard care. The goal is to see if early treatment leads to less disability and better quality of life.
