New stroke treatment aims to clear brain clots more completely

NCT ID NCT06781385

Summary

This study is testing whether giving a clot-dissolving drug directly into the brain's arteries after a clot removal procedure is safe and helpful for stroke patients. It involves 40 people who have had a major stroke caused by a large blood clot. The goal is to see if this extra step improves blood flow to the brain and reduces the risk of dangerous bleeding.
