New brain clot removal technique tested in major stroke trial
NCT ID NCT07491952
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device and technique called ADAPT 2.0 to remove blood clots from the brain during acute ischemic stroke. The trial will enroll 750 adult stroke patients to see if this approach can restore blood flow to the brain more effectively and safely than current methods. Researchers will measure how well the technique removes clots and whether patients recover better with fewer complications.
