Scientists hunt blood clues to predict deadly strokes
NCT ID NCT06890702
Summary
This study aims to discover biological markers in blood and other samples that could help identify people at high risk for stroke before it happens. Researchers will follow 7,000 participants—both stroke patients and healthy individuals—for up to four years, tracking their health and analyzing samples. The goal is to develop better tools for early detection and personalized treatment of ischemic stroke, which occurs when blood flow to the brain is blocked.
