Scientists test hidden training trick to help stroke survivors regain arm use

NCT ID NCT05765474

Summary

This study aimed to discover which practice methods best help stroke survivors relearn how to use their weaker arm. Twenty-eight participants with arm weakness from a past stroke were split into two groups to practice a scooping task over two days. Researchers compared how well each group retained and applied the skill the next day to guide better future rehab programs.
