Zap & grab: ear stimulation and robot training tested to help stroke patients regain arm use

NCT ID NCT07257107

Summary

This study is testing if a combination of two therapies can help people regain arm and hand function after a stroke. One therapy uses gentle electrical stimulation on the ear, and the other uses a robot to help guide repetitive arm movements. Researchers will compare this combination to robot training with a fake (sham) stimulation to see which is more effective at improving movement, strength, and quality of life.
