Race against time: finding the safest moment to restart blood thinners after a major stroke

Summary
This study aims to find the best and safest time to restart blood-thinning medication for stroke patients who also have an irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation. Researchers will compare starting the medication early versus delaying it after patients have a procedure to remove a blood clot from their brain. The goal is to prevent another stroke while avoiding dangerous bleeding in the brain.
