Summary

This study tested whether a supplement called striatin, made from snakehead fish extract, could help severely malnourished children gain weight and reduce inflammation. Thirty children received either striatin or a placebo alongside standard nutritional therapy. The goal was to see if the supplement improved weight, inflammatory markers, and gut bacteria balance.
