Nurse-Led stress care holds its own against gold standard therapy

NCT ID NCT04820283

Summary

This study tested if a simpler, nurse-led support program could be as helpful as a more intensive therapist-guided therapy for people with stress. It involved 172 primary care patients with mild-to-moderate stress symptoms. Researchers compared a collaborative care model led by a nurse to a structured self-help therapy program guided by a psychologist to see which was better at reducing stress.
