Stress first aid for outreach workers: a lifeline for the helpers?

Summary

This study tests whether a program called Stress First Aid can reduce burnout and improve social support for people who work with those struggling with substance use. About 500 outreach workers from Texas and nearby states will either receive the training or continue as usual. Researchers will measure changes in burnout and support after two months.
