Brain science meets strength training: can your thoughts improve your walk?
NCT ID NCT06538766
Summary
This study aims to understand how a person's mental focus during leg strength training affects their walking patterns and related brain activity. Researchers will enroll 45 healthy older adults to compare different mental focus strategies during calf muscle exercises. The goal is to gather knowledge about the brain-muscle connection for walking, not to treat a specific disease.
