Scientists test if gym work makes better dancers
NCT ID NCT07164599
Summary
This study tested whether adding a 12-week strength and power training program to regular dance practice improves movement quality, lower body strength, and overall performance in female college sports dancers. Thirty experienced dancers were randomly assigned to either do the extra training or just continue their normal dance routines. Researchers measured their movement, strength, balance, and dance performance before, during, and after the training, and again after an 8-week break from the extra workouts.
