First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study from Mayo Clinic aims to see how common a widened aorta (thoracic aorta dilatation) is among experienced weightlifters over age 35. The goal is simply to observe and describe any links, not to test a treatment.
