First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether eating special strawberry gummies can improve oral health and reduce risks of gum disease or oral cancer. Researchers will test two types of gummies—one with real freeze-dried strawberries and one without—in 36 adults who smoke or have never smoked. The goal is to see how the body absorbs strawberry compounds and if they help reduce inflammation in the mouth.
