First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
After a stroke, some people have trouble paying attention to one side of their body or space, called neglect. This study tests a special training that teaches people to be more aware of this problem and use strategies to cope. Researchers will work with 45 adults who have had a stroke and live in the community near the University of Pittsburgh to see if this training improves attention and daily life.
