Summary
This study looked at whether a non-drug approach called Strategy Training can help older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) stay independent in daily activities like shopping, paying bills, and managing medications. About 105 participants with MCI were taught strategies to overcome cognitive challenges. Researchers measured how much help they needed to complete tasks. The goal was to slow disability progression and improve quality of life.
