New stitch tested to heal brain surgery scars faster
NCT ID NCT07225101
Summary
This study is gathering more information about an already-approved medical stitch called STRATAFIX. Researchers want to see how well it works and how safe it is for closing wounds after brain or spine surgeries over the long term. They will track wound healing, check for infections, and measure how long it takes to close the wound during surgery. The goal is to provide doctors with better data on using this specific stitch for these complex procedures.
