First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding strain counterstrain therapy—a gentle, hands-on technique—to standard care can reduce pain, fatigue, and improve quality of life in women with fibromyalgia. 105 women were split into three groups: one received standard care, another added the therapy, and a control group had no treatment. Results were measured before and after three weeks of daily sessions.
