Gentle touch therapy tested for fibromyalgia relief
NCT ID NCT07421609
Summary
This study tested whether adding a gentle hands-on therapy called strain counterstrain to standard care helps women with fibromyalgia. 105 participants were split into groups to compare standard care alone versus standard care plus the new therapy over three weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, fatigue, mood, and overall quality of life to see if the extra therapy made a difference.
