Summary

This study tests whether giving the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel directly into the abdominal cavity, along with standard intravenous chemo, can help people with stomach cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. About 148 adults with this condition will be randomly assigned to receive either standard chemo alone or standard chemo plus intraperitoneal paclitaxel. The goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth and helps people live longer.
